In this day and age, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by the daily news and try to shut it all out just to stay sane. But in times like these, the world needs us to stay connected and engaged.
Active Hope is the antidote to overwhelm
It awakens our natural creativity and responsibility so we can effectively co-create with God and lovingly care for the sacred world with which we’ve been blessed. Rooted in gratitude and interdependence, this work activates our innate ability to act on behalf of life and contribute to a livable future for our grandchildren and the ones-yet-to-be of all species.
This work emerges from the legacy of the late Joanna Macy – scholar of Buddhism, General Systems Theory, and Deep Ecology, author of many books and the root teacher of the Work That Reconnects.

What we’ll get to do together…
Our time together will include personal reflection, deep sharing, and interactive group work designed to awaken our inner wisdom and inspire us to engage in Active Hope.
Moving through the Work That Reconnects spiral — grounding in gratitude, honoring the pain for the world, seeing with new/ancient eyes, going forth — will help us metabolize our challenging feelings and galvanize our commitment to right action.
Participants will leave the workshop with more resilience, resolve, and clarity about how to contribute to the wellbeing of the world in alignment with their values.
Cost and Contribution
This workshop is being offered on a sliding scale of $50-$100
The sliding scale is meant to allow for maximum accessibility while covering costs and compensating the facilitator. Please contribute generously within your means.

About the Facilitator
Jo delAmor has been facilitating personal and cultural transformation as a catalyst for planetary healing since 2007 in private coaching programs and experiential group work. Her work is deeply holistic, incorporating reconnection to self, all our relations, the Earth and the Divine across Deep Time in service to mutual thriving and the ones yet to be. She presents WTR in the context of understanding the roles that oppression and colonization have played in creating our current circumstances and with a strong commitment to actively undoing oppression.
She is a mother, WTR facilitator, personal coach, homesteader and the author of Raising Children in the Midst of Global Crisis: A Compassionate Guidebook for New Paradigm Parenting
